| cOGC 101 of Boxing Exhibition, held at Germania Maennerchor Hall, November 7, 1902, under the auspices of the Eureka Athletic Club. Said report was read, and ordered filed, see Exhibit No. 854. Complaint from F.J.Patton. Saloons. Madison & Harford Ave,, and Monument & Harford Av. Report was received from the Marshal upon the subject of complaint signed F.J.Patton, with respect to alleged violation of law on the part of keepers of saloons, neighbor hood of Madison & Harford avenues, and Monument and Harford Avenue. Said report was read, and ordered filed, see Exhibit No. 855. Complaint - Improper Conduct Union Square. It was reported to the Board that complaints have been made by the residents in the neighborhood of Union Square of the improper conduct on the part of visitors thereto. It was ordered that the Marshal be directed to instruct Captain League of the Southwestern District, to detail officers in citizen's clothes for the purpose of arresting offenders and breaking up conditions complained of. Complaint of John IvLjjicholai. In the matter of complaint of John M.Nicholai, as referred to in the proceedings of November 7, 1902, it was reported to the Board that Mr. Nicholai does not desire that the officers in question be tried by the Board upon formal charges. It was ordered, however, that the Marshal be directed to send for the two officers, (Officers Ricktor and Leonard), and reprinand them for having addressed Mr. Nicholai improperly and used unbecoming language to him on Wednesday morning, November 5, 1902.
