| Boxing & Wrestling Thatch. Application was received from Charles J.Weiss, 418 Robert street, for permit to hold a Boxing & Wrestling Tournament at Broadway Institute December 2 and 3. It was ordered that the said application be referred to the Marshal for investigation and recommendation. Boxing Exhibition. Report. A report was received from the Marshal upon the subject of Boxing Exhibition, held at Music Hall, November 12,1902, under the auspices of the Eutaw Athletic Club. Said report was read and ordered filed, see Exhibit No. 861. Retirement of Officer George S.Escavaille, N.W.District. In compliance with the Board's instructions of November 12,1902, a report was received from the Police Physicians upon the subject of their examination of Officer George S.Escavaille, Northwestern District, said report stating that the said officer is Permanently disabled and unfit for active police duty. It was therefore ordered, by the vote as shown below, that Officer George S.Escavaille, Northwestern District, be retired on one-half pay; said retirement to date from and after November 20,190 2. The vote upon the retirement of Officer Escavaille, a3 above, was:- President Upshur.......Yea, Commissioner Morris, Yea, Commissioner Fowler,....Yea. _,eave of Absence Officer Albln A.Ryan, Central District. Upon the recommendation of the Marshal leave of absence was granted to Officer Albin A.Ryan, Central District, from November 14th., to December 4th., including Thanksgiving Day.
