| Leave of Absence. Account of Sickness. Upon the recommendation of Police Physician John S.Bishop, it was ordered that Officer Lawrence Talbot of the Southern District, now on sick-list, be granted leave of absence of two weeks with privilege of going into the country. See recommendation filed, as Exhibit No. 871. Assignment of Magistrate. The Secretary reported to the Board that Justice Daniel J.Loden, Western District, had notified the Department on Saturday, November 22, that he desired to be absent from his duties November 24 and 25, 1902, that he,the Secretary, assigned Justice Charles Reviol to act as Police Justice for the Western District from 8 A.M., November 24, 1902, until relieved; additional Justice Poe having been assigned to the Porthern District. The action of the Secretary in the assignment of Magistrate as above, was approved. Boxing Exhibition. Application for Permit. Application was received from Messrs. Flack & Knabe, for permit to hold Sparring Exhibition, Saturday evening, November 29,1902, at Flack's Hall, Fulton & Patterson Avenues. It was ordered that the said application be referred to the Marshal for investigation and recommendation. Boxing Exhibition- Report. Report was received from the Marshal upon the subject of Boxing Exhibition, held at Germania Maennerchor Hall, November 21,1902, by the Eureka Athletic Club. Said report was read and ordered filed, see Exhibit No. 872. |
