Upon the recommendation of the Marshal it was ordered that Officer William J.Gaffey be permitted to retain twenty dollars donated to him by the United States Government for the arrest of Edgar Dawes, a deserter from the United States Army. The Board concluded the hearing commenced December 8,1902, of the charge preferred by the Marshal against Officer Robert T.Noel, Northern District, taking the testimony of the following witnesses, viz:- William T.Wheeler, Harry C, .Ford, Officer Robert T.Noel, Joseph Knight. Officer Noel was found guilty on the first specification of the charge referred to, but not guilty of the second specification. |
