| Order as to District Detectives, A communication, as follows, was received from the Marshal :- "December 22,1902. To The Honorable, The Board of Police Commissioners. Gentlemen:- I have from time to time observed that the several Station-house Detectives leave the districts to which they are assigned on other than police business, and I would therefore, respectfully, ask authority to issue an order that hereafter Station-house Detectives will not be allowed to leave the district to which they are assigned without first reporting the fact to the officer-in-charge of the district to which he is assigned. Very respectfully, THOMAS F. FARNAN, Marshal." Recommendation as made by the Marshal in letter above referred to, was approved. Exhibit No. 909. Repairs to Southern District. It was ordered, by the vote as shown below, that plumbing in bath room of the Southern District Station-house be repaired at a cost of about $12.00 The vote upon repairs to Southern District Station-house, as above, was:- President Upshur,.......Yea, Commissioner Morris,....Yea, Commissioner Fowler,....Yea. Supplies for Station-houses^ Upon the recommendation of the Marshal it was ordered that the following supplies be purchased for the Station-houaes named, viz:- NORTHERN DISTRICT:- Book case for Magistrate's Room, CENTRAL DISTRICT:- Two chairs for Captain's Room. WESTERN DISTRICT:- One chair and one stool. NORTHWESTERN DISTRICT:- Linoleum behind desk, Assem&iy Rodra. Linoleum behind Magistrate's desk. one desk chair for Assembly Room. SOUTHERN DISTRICT:- Linoleum behind desk, Assembly Room. - Two chairs for Assembly Room. |
