cOGC SOUTHWESTERN DISTRICT:- One desk chair for Captain's Room. The vote upon the purchase of supplies, as above, v/as:- President Upshur,........Yea, Commissioner Morris,.....Yea, Commissioner Fowler,.....Yea. Assignment of Magistrate. Additional Justice Neilson Poe, Jr., was assigned to sit at the Western District Station-house from 8 A.M., December 23, 1902, until relieved, in the place of Justice Daniel J.Loden,who notified the Board that he desired to be absent from his duties. Injury to Horse - - Mounted Service. In the matter of injury to horse ridden by Officer Winchester F.Mason, as referred to in the proceedings of December 17, and 19, 1902, Officer Mason appeared before the Board, as directed. Officer Mason, however, did not throw any additional light on the subject.
