Appointment of Probation Officers.
To fill the vacancies in the grade of Probation Officer caused by
the promotions from the probationary list as above, the Board by the
vote as given below appointed the following named eligibles;-

Henry M. Sink,
Horace N. Caviler.
The vote upon the appointment of Probation Officers as above was

1902, were read, approved and adopted.
Trials.
Officer Samuel A. Hobbs, Northwestern District, was fined |2.00, for having been fifteen minutes behind the return of his squad, 4.17 A.M., January 2, 1903, and asleep on
his post.
Officer Thomas A. Worthington, Northwestern District, was tried upon, found guilty of the following charge and fined $10. and warned.
