| The action of the Secretary in assignment of Justice Reed, as above, was approved. Assignment of Officers. The following named, appointed December 31,1902, to take effect this date, were commissioned, bonded, took the oath of office before the Superior Court, and were assigned as hereunder:- Sergeant Henry R. Hill, Eastern District, vice Roy-croft, deceased. Policeman Charles E. Bredekamp, Southern District, Policeman Benjamin T. Duval, Southern District, Policeman Harry Kunnecke, Southern District. Prob. Officer Charles A, Bishop, Northern District, Prob. Officer Henry M. Link. Eastern District, Prob. Officer Harry M. Caviler, N.Western District. Transfer. It was ordered that Officer Frank X.Madigan be transferred from the Northern to the Southwestern District; said transfer to take effect at once. Distribution of Cards for Coal. Request of Baltimore General Dispensary. A communication, as follows, was received upon the subject referred to above:- "Baltimore, Jan. 2,1903. George I,". Upshur, Esq., Pres. Board of Police Commissioners, Dear Sir:- The Baltimore General Dispensary, 651 W.Lexington street, desire to distribute a car of coal free to the deserving poor, and request that you allow the police in the Southern, Western and Northwestern Districts distribute cards, like enclosed, as they can reach the people we desire to assist. Trusting your 3oard will grant our request, Very respectfully, ADRIAN ODDFSLUYS, Secretary." The Secretary was directed to reply to the communica- tion above, as follows:- |
