295 Treatment of Boy Prisoners. At Station-houses._____ Commissioner Fowler brought to the attention of the Board statement which had been made to him by Mr. Leon E. Greenbaum, upon the subject of treatment of boy prisoners at the Station-houses. Mr. Greenbaum 3aid, Mr. Fowler stated, that it had been reported that boy prisoners had frequently been taken into the Juvenile Court for trial in a half starved condition, as well as oftentimes dirty, etc. It was ordered that the matter be referred to the Marshal with instructions to ascertain and report the practice observed at the several Station-houses with respect to feeding boy prisoners held at the Station-houses over night, etc. Bills Passed.
