0( Chair for Magistrate. Northwestern District. Upon the requisition of Captain John A. G. Shultz, Northwestern District, recommendation of the Deputy Marshal, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered, by the following vote, that a nev/ chair be purchased for the use of the Magistrate at the Northwestern District Station-house. See Exhibit No.950. The vote upon the purchase of chair, as above, was:- President Upshur,.....Yea, Commissioner Morris,..Yea, Commissioner Fowler,..Yea. Nathan Smith - Photograph of. In Rogue's Gallery. Communication, as follows, was received from the Marshal, and the recommendation as made therein was approved:- "Baltimore, February 11th.,1903. To The Honorable, The Board of Police Commissioners. Gentlemen:- The photograph of one NATHAN SMITH, (who was arrested February 13th.,1894, on the charge of receiving stolen goods - and pardoned a few months afterwards), is still in the Rogue's Gallery. Mr. Smith has on several occasions requested that the same be removed therefrom. Upon inquiry I learn that Smith is now, and has been for sometime past, conducting himself in a proper manner, and I would therefore respectfully recommend that his photograph be removed from the Rogue's Gallery.
