| eOGC 305 Baltimore General Dispensary __Coal .„.. for distribution to poor. A communication, as follows, was received,read and held over;- 3altimore,February 13th,1903. To The Board of Police Commissioners, City, pear Sirst- V.'e again ask the courtesy of you to allow your police to distribute tickets to the poor for free coal which was so very satisfactorily conducted last month. V.'e have another car load in our cellar,but propose distributing it when we have cold weather.which may be at any time. Very truly yours, Adrian Oudesluys, Secretary. V.'e intend to distribute the coal in the Southern,Southwestern,7/estern and North-.estern Districts. Muslin & Toweling. Purchase of. Upon the recommendation of the Deputy Marshal, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered, by the vote as shown below, that one bolt of muslin and one bolt of toweling be purchased to supply the needs of the respective Station-houses upon-requisition. The vote upon the purchase of muslin and toweling, as above, was: - President Upshur......Yea, Commissioner Morris,..Yoa, Commissioner Fowler,..Yea. (See recommendation filed, as Exhibit No.951.) Mounted Stables. Alteration of Stalls. Upon the recommendation of the Lieutenant of Mounted Police, approved by the Deputy Marshal and Marshal, it was ordered that the four box stalls on the East side of the hospital of Mounted Stable be altered so as to make eight straight stalls out of them, and that J.J.Willis be employed to do necessary work.
