Drop Light for Matron's Room. Southern District. Upon the requisition of Captain George G. Henry, Southern District, recommendation of the Deputy Marshal, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that a drop light be provided for the Matron's Room, Southern District Station-house. The vote upon the purchase of drop light, as above, was:- President Upshur,.....Yea, Commissioner Morris,..Yea, Commissioner Fowler,..Yea. (Requisition filed as Exhibit No. 953). Shades for Electric Lights. Northern District. Upon the requisition of Captain Bernard J. Ward, Northern District, recommended by the Deputy Marshal, and approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that four shades be furnished for electric lights at the desk in the Assembly Room, Northern District Station-house. The vote upon the purchase of shades, as above, was:- President Upshur,.....Yea, Commissioner Morris,..Yea, Commissioner Fowler,..Yea. (Recommendation filed as Exhibit No.954). Presentation of Ring to Captain McGee - «- Eastern District. It was reported to the Board that from the amount subscribed by the members of the Eastern District for the purchase of a badge to be presented to Captain McGee, on the occasion of his 25th., Anniversary in the Police Department, a small amount is left, and that the contributors desire the Board's permission to purchase a ring with such balance for presentation to Captain McGee.
