It was ordered that permission be granted Charles J. Weiss to hold Wrestling Exhibition at Germania Maennerchor Hall, February 27th.,1903, and that the price of said permit shall be $25.00 Bernard C. Steiner Complaint of As to Station 10, Gay and Mott streets. Communication, as follows, was received from Bernard C. Steiner Librarian of the Enoch Pratt Free Library:- ¦ February 16, 1903. Hon. George M. Upshur, Pres. Board of Police Commissioners. Dear Sir:- Our relations with the Police Department have been so uniformly pleasant and we have received such useful assistance from you in the matter of keeping order at our Branches and 'Main Library, that I am averse to making anything like a complaint, but think it only right to bring before you certain events which occurred last week. The policeman on the beat is not able to be on hand with sufficient frequency to keep the children in check. With the assurance of high regard, I am, Yours sincerly, BERNARD C. STEINER." It was ordered that the above complaint be referred to the Marshal with instructions to investigate the matter thoroughly and
