| °cc 313 Bracken for performing his duty and of having used,to Justice Robertson, Southern District, opprobrious remarks of a threatening nature with respect to Lieutenant Morheiser,his superior officer; that his conduct on both occasions was reprehensible; that the Board censured him severely for it and warned him against a repetition in the future. Assignments of Magistrates. The secretary reported to the Board that on the afternoon of February 19th,1903, Additional Justice Nelson Poe, Jr., had notified the department that he would be unable to sit at the Northern District(to which he had been assigned,for the afternoon session of February 19th;)i>n account of sickness; that he, the secretary had assigned Justice William Reed to act as Police Justice for the Northern District from 3 P.M., February 19th,1903, until relieved. The action of the Secretary in assigning Justice Reed to sit at the Northern District,as mentioned, was approved. Additional Justice Nelson Poe,Jr., was assigned to sit at the Northwestern District Station-house from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M. to day in the place of Justice Adolph Sauber who notified the Board he desired to be absent from his duties . Additional Justice Nelson Peo,Jr., was assigned to sit at the Western District Station-house from 8 A.M..February 21st,1903, until relieved, in the place of Justice Daniel J. Loden who notified the Board that he desired to be absent from his duties on account of sickness. Donation. Upon the recommendation of the Captain of Det ctives,approved by the Marshal,it was ordered that Detective John K.Mayer be permitted to retain Five Dollars donated to him by E. J. Codd for locating his son who had been missing for several days. Transfers. Upon the recommendation of the Marshal, it was ordered that Sergeant _Frank_Parr,Central District, be transferred from his present squad to that now worked by Sergeant Michael J. Hughes, and that |
