| OGC 319 __Gambling. 255 Arch__Street,______ A report was received from the Marshal upon the subject of alleged gambling house, 235 Arch street, complained of in anonymous communication addressed to the Board. Said report, which states that the complaint is unfounded, was read, and ordered filed, see, Exhibit No. 962. Repairs. Eastern District Station-housef Upon the requisition of Captain Thomas B. McGee, Eastern District, the recommendation of the Deputy Marshal, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that the roof of the Eastern District Station-house be repaired at once, and that Charles J. Dailey be employed to do the work. The vote upon repairs to the roof of the Eastern District Station-house, as above, was:- Commissioner Morris, Yea, Commissioner Fowler, Yea. (Requisition filed as Exhibit No.963). __Transfers. Upon the recommendation of Captain Bernard J. Ward, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that Officer Lawrence J.Bev-ans be transferred from B. to A. Divition; and that Officer Floyd B. Vane be transferred from bicycle to street duty in B.Division; said transfers to take effect immediately. Bernard C. Steiner Complaint of - as to Station 10, Gay & Mott Streets. In the matter of complaint preferred by Bernard C. Steiner, Librarian Enoch Pratt Library, in relationto the action with respect to Harry Sherrer, charged with firing a pistol in Station 10, said library, Gay & Mott Streets, as referred to in the proceedings of February 18, 1903. |
