Appointment of Policemen.
To fill the vacancies in the grade of policemen caused by the retirement of Policemen John B. Cox, Charles F. Foil, James F. Cain, John If. Friedel, Charles L. Latham and Frederick Claus, the Board, by the vote as shovm hereunder, took up eligible list for the grade of policeman, and promoted therefrom the following Probation Officers to Policemen, viz:-
Alonzo W. Lockwood. N.E.District,
George R. Ballard, N.W.District,
George T. Smith,______N.District,
Arthur J. Stritch, S.District,
Albert E. Guertler, S.W.District.
John J. Woods,________C.District.
Said appointments to take effect March 13, 1903.
