running at large and other alleged evils on Calhoun street, between Lanvale St. and Lafayette Avenue. It was ordered that the said communication be referred to the Marshal for his attention. Assignment of Magistrate. Additional Justice Neilson Poe, Jr., was assigned to sit at the Northwestern District Station-house from 3 P.M. to 5 P. M., to-day, March 13,1903, in the place of Justice Adolph Sauber, who notified the Board that he desired to be absent from his duties during the hours mentioned on account of sickness. Surveys. Reports__of. Reports were received from the Police Physicians upon the subject of their examinations of Sergeant Patrick J. Kelly, Central District and William T. Russell, .Southern District. 3aid reports, which state that the officers named are capable of performing active police duty, were read and ordered filed. In the case of Officer George E. Emetine, Northeastern District, a report of whose examination by the Police Physicians on February 17,1903, was returned to the Police Physicians for further investigation. A report was to-day received from the Police Physicians of their re-examination of Officer George E. Emerine, which report states Officer Emerine is not incapacitated for police duty.
