355 OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS. ----------0---------- Baltimore.Monday, March 16th,1905, Boa-d met; present,Messrs Upshur and Morris. The minutes of the previous meeting, Friday,'larch 15tht1905, were read, approved and adopted. Trials. Charges,as follows, were preferred by Captain 3ernard J. Ward,Northern District, against Sergeant Thomas F. Connolly.Northern District;— Charges: OFFICIAL MISCONDUCT: First;- In having,about 12.30 A.M..March 11th,1903,at the corner of York Road and 25th street,used threatening and opprobrious language toward Officer Thomas F. Oursler,Northern District,and having in the presence of the said officer Oursler,at the time and place above mentioned,used unbecoming language with respect to Sergeant John E.Saunders. Second:- In having, about 12.20 A.M.,March 12th,1903,at York Road and 29th street,used language of threatening character toward Officer Thomas F.Oursler,Northern District. Third:- In having left his bailiwick and entered the saloon of J.Firmin Dey,2900 York Road,at 11.50 P.M..March 11th, 1903,and remained in said saloon until 12.25 A.M., March 12th,1903,on other than police business. When Sergeant Connolly was called before the Board to plead to said charges, he requested that the hearing be postponed that he may have an opportunity to.employ counsel and prepare his defense. The Board therefore postponed the trial until Friday,March 20th,and the secretary was directed to summon the witnesses for that date. Charges as follows were preferred against Officer William J.
