OGC 361 OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS. Baltimore,, WednesdayfMarch 18thtI9Q 3. Board met;present,Messrs Upshur and Fowler. ------o------- The minutes of the previous meeting. Monday,March 16th.1905fwere read. approved and adopted. Trial. Officer Francis R.Carroll, Northern District, was tried upon the charge of having been twenty-five minutes late for roll call,11.45 A.M., March 17th,1903, found guilty thereof and fined Two Dollars. Assignment of Magistrate. The secretary reported to the Board that on March 17th,1903, Justice Adolph Sauber, Northern District,notified the department that he desired to be absent from his duties,on account of sickness, from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M., March 17th,1903; that he, the secretary, had assigned Additional Justice Kelson Poe,Jr., to sit at the Northern District Station-house during the hours mentioned in the place of Justice Sauber. The action of the secretary in assigning Justice Poe to sit at the Northwestern District Station as stated above, was approved. Donation. Upon the recommendation of the Deputy Marshal,acting as Marshal in the absence of Marshal Parnan, as well as that of the Captain of Detectives, it was ordered that Detective George W.Seibold be permitted to retain Ten Dollars donated to him by State Fire Marshal,R.H.Price, for services and expenses in investigating cause of fire in the dwelling of Dr. J.T.Woodward,at Mt.Airy, Carroll County,I'd. deed Contract. In response to the invitations sent out March 8th,1903, to twelve different feed firms in the city, as shown by the Specification Book, the only bid received to furnish the department with feed for the ensuing three months in accordance with specifications, was that of Messrs John P.. Hudgins and Co.,
