•OGC - William H.Daniel-Complaint from,__ In the matter of complaint made by William H. Daniel,of having been improperly treated in the Northeastern District Station-house, as referred to in the proceedings of March 30th,1903, a report was received from the Marshal,which report was read and ordered filed. See Exhibit No. 1004. 393 Window Shades for Southern District. Upon the requisition of Captain George G. Henry, Southern District, the recommendation of the Deputy Marshal, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that there be purchased five circular shades for windows in the Assembly Room of the Southern District Station-house. The vote upon the purchase of window shades, as above, was as follows:- President Upshur........Yea, Commissioner Morris.....Yea, Commissioner Fowler.....Yea. (See recommendation filed as Exhibit No.1005). Repairs tp_ Street Washer - N.E.District. Upon the requisition of Captain Charles W, Gittings, Northeastern District, the recommendation of the Deputy Marshal, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered, by the following vote, that the street washer in the pavement of the Northeastern District Station-house be repaired. _The_vote_upon repairs as above, was as follow3:- President Upshur.......Yea, Commissioner Morris....Yea, Commissioner Fowler....Yea. (See recommendation filed as Exhibit No. 1006). Hats for Captains & Lieutenants. Summer Wear. It was ordered, by the following vote, that light soft hat, as per sample submitted by C. J. Heller, 4072 Lancaster Avenue, Philadelphia, be adopted for the wear of Captains and Lieutenants during Summer months; and that order be given to the said C. J. Heller for the necessary number of hats at Three Dollars and Fifty Cents each.
