Dismissal. Sergeant Conrad H. Schmidt, Southwestern District, was tried upon the following charge, found guilty thereof and, by the vote as shown hereunder, dismissed from the force: CHARGE; OFFICIAL MISCONDUCT. Specifications. "Entering bakery of Ernest H. Bieberback, 1301 Columbia Avenue, on other than police business, and re-naining therein, vizi«- . March 28th.,1903, from 12.55 to 1.40 A.M. " 1.55 to 3.40 A.M. March 29th.,1903, from 1.55 to 2.45 A.M. " 2.55 to 3.45 A.M. March 30th.,1903, from 12.15 to 12.45 A.M. ¦ 12.55 to 1.45 A.M. 1.55 to 2.45 A M. " 2.55 to 3.45 A.M. March 31st.,1903, Came out of Bakery 1.45 A.M. from 2.20 to 2.50 A.M. " 3.20 (was not seen to come out). April 1st.,1903, from 12.10 to 12.50 A.M. Came out of Bakery 1.40 A.M. from 2.A.M. to 2.40 A.M. " 2.55 to 3.40 A.M. April 2nd.,1903 Prom 1.55 to 2.45 A.M. Entered Bakery at 2.55 A.M.; after twenty minutes duration Round Sergeant Edward J.Dillon, Eastern District, entered dining room of Bakery where he found Sergeant Conrad H. Schmidt asleep on a lounge; Serjeant Schmidt was awakened and ordered on the outside." The vote upon the dismissal of Sergeant Conrad H. Schmidt, was:- President Upshur......Yea, Commissioner Morris...Yea, Commissioner Fowler...Yea. Assignment of Magistrate. Justice Thomas F. Campbell wa3 authorized to act as police justice for the Northwestern District from 3 P. M. to-day until relieved in the place of Justice Adolph Sauber, absent on account of Bickness. (Additional Justice Neilson Poe, Jr., sitting at Southern Station). Wrestling Exhibition; Upon the recommendation of the Marshal it was ordered that permit be granted to Charles J. ?.Teiss to hold wrestling exhibition at Music Hall April 14, 1903.
