County police are seeking to establish the identity of a well-dressed man whose mutilated form was found under a box car along the railroad tracks in the lower end of the county.
The man was apparently thirty-five or forty years old, five feet six inches in height, and weighing not more than 150 pounds. His hair, dark chestnut in color, was neatly trimmed and his hands were well cared for.
The only mark of identification is a scar an inch long at the left side of the forehead.
The body was dressed in a brown suit of costly material, made by the Traymore Tailoring Company of Philadelphia, and in the right inner pocket of the coat was the name "Joseph J. Jordan."
The well-tailored black overcoat also bore the initials "J. J. J." The shoes were of tan, also of an expensive make.

After F. W. Rohrs of Rosedale, had been thwarted from Saturdav morning until Sunday night in efforts to make a telephone call from his home, he made a vigorous kick to the Public Service Commission, relating this and other incidents in a letter received this week.
Mr. Rohr says he is also discriminated against in rates, being charged more for an obsolete instrument on a four-party line than city subscribers poy for a two-party stand and, besides, cannot get incoming calls over his station.
Charleston, S. C—"I was completely run-down and not able to do my housework. I just dragged myself around and did not have energy enough to get up when I sat down. I read advertisements of Lydia E. Pink-ham's Vegetable Compound in your books and learned about it. I got benefit from the very first bottle. I continued _to take it for some time, and now I am doing all my own work, even washing and ironing, and never felt better in my life. I tell all my friends that the change in my health is due to but one thing and that is Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound. I cannot praise it enough. "—Mrs. Annie Young, 16 Amherst St., Charleston, S.C. The reason for such a letter from Mrs. Young is apparent. She got well and is grateful. Recently a nation-wide canvass of women purchasers of Lydia E. Pinkham's Vegetable Compound was made, and 98 out of 100 reported that they received benefit from taking it.
Just because the Vegetable Compound has been helping other women is a good reason why it should help you. For sale by druggists everywhere.
